I have sky downstairs, and a regular tv with the normal 5 channels in my bedroom. I would love to be able to whatch sky in bed, without the extra need for drilling more holes for extra cable, and without the extra expense of paying more. Are there any hiches, and extras that I would need to ensure that this equipment would work.Does anybody have a wireless AV DigiSender connected? Can you tell me if this works?
the longer the distance the worst is the quality of the image, specially it its on a different floor. the other problem is the frequency they use since it will pick up interference from mobile phones and nearby wireless Internet transmissions.
the best solution is always a wire connection. the wireless digisenders are a bit of trial and error. keep your receipt if you get one!Does anybody have a wireless AV DigiSender connected? Can you tell me if this works?
Yeah it works a treat, I use mine with a SkyHD box and while you only get an SD picture with the digisender it works fantastically well even down to allowing full use of your remote.
Only problem I.ve encountered is interference from 802.11 wireless signals i.e if my ps3 is on downstairs it distorts the signal as the sender unit is next to my ps3!
Or if I use my laptop in my bedroom within @10ft of the receiver....same thing
