Yahoo messenger worked this morning- won't work now- e-mail log in works?

I used it earlier today and had no issues. All afternoon I have been unable to log in. I get the trouble logging in -try again later message. I tried a friends log in and it works fine- any suggestions?Yahoo messenger worked this morning- won't work now- e-mail log in works?
