Where can i see the fire works this year in new york?

its on the hudson river. I'm used to more downtown by southstreet seaport. anyone have any suggestions?Where can i see the fire works this year in new york?
This year's firework will in the Hudson River as part of the 400th anniversary of Henry Hudson voyage up the river. If you're heading over to see the fireworks, the best view of it will be along the West Side Highway, which will be closed to motor vehicular traffic, from 23rd to 59th Streets. It is very advisable that you take public transit. The closets subway stations to West Side Highway are as follow:

23rd Street on the ';C'; line

34th Street-Penn Station on the ';A';, ';C';, ';E';, #1, 2 and 3 lines

42nd Street-Port Authority Bus Terminal on the ';A';, ';C';, ';E'; lines

50th Street on the ';C'; line

59th Street-Columbus Circle on the A';, ';C';, ';E'; and #1 line

Please note that the public viewing areas can get extremely crowded, therefore arrive early (well before 7 pm if you want to get a decent spot) and bring chairs or a blanket to spread out and whatever other supplies you need to enjoy the wait (water, food, something to read or listen, etc.).

I hope this information is very helpful.

Good luck
